IVAN MALEHAM

Ivan is married and has two children and two grandchildren.  He has been involved in Church leadership from the early 1990s as a layman.  He looked after the finances as a member of a Church executive committee and later served on two Trusts established by the Church.  The one Trust assisted orphan children and provided dress making training  for disadvantaged persons.  The other was formed to raise and administer funds for a school.  The school was started in the mid nineties to provide good quality Christian based education at affordable fees for children whose parents had limited resources. Funding was sourced largely from overseas and was used to build a first class school plant and to subsidise fees.

He has a desire to see South Africa raise to its full potential so that all citizens can participate equally in all spheres of life.  He believes the only way this can happen is if everyone helps where ever possible, and is committed to playing his part in ensuring that future generations will be blessed with a peaceful, productive and Christ centred way of life.
